Toolkit based on a blend of the methodologies "learning through play" and "problem-based learning." CREA aims to empower organizations to develop their own tools that foster problem-solving and creative thinking in preadolescents.

Research
During the investigation process, we found that Fort Gotten is deeply committed to contributing to the creative development of children. Their desire to be part of a project that actively promotes values aligned with nurturing creativity.
CREA
CREA is a set of complementary learning tools based on the methodologies of problem-based learning and learning through play, designed to foster and stimulate soft skills and creativity in nonprofit organizations that work in education with preadolescent youth.

Ideas
To generate effective and user-centered solutions, we applied a structured ideation process that included the "How Might We" technique to frame challenges as opportunities.
CREA ITERATION
This iteration of CREA features a more user-centered design compared to the previous version, with a stronger emphasis on the "learning through play" methodology. The new format allows for greater flexibility in how the game is used, offering multiple modes of play, adaptability across various contexts, and the potential to engage audiences beyond early adolescence. This evolution not only enhances the toolkit’s usability but also broadens its impact and inclusivity.

How to play
In CREA, we are lost in a forest, and to find our way out, we’ll need to set up camps and work together to overcome the challenges . By completing these challenges, we earn bottle caps (like tokens) that can be exchanged for pieces of a device that will help us escape.
The forest
Each camp will be identified by an animal. There are conditional cards that can give us either advantages or disadvantages.
To keep things fair, park rangers will be there to guide us, but success ultimately depends on each camp’s effort.
